These images
show how the world looks through the eyes of individuals who
have suffered complications from LASIK surgery.
Original
nighttime image - shown left.
This
is the same nighttime image as a person with LASIK complications
sees it. The damaged eye blends the inside of the eyelid that
it sees when it is closed with the nighttime image that is seen
with the normal, open eye.
This
is the same nighttime image seen through the eyes of a person
experiencing starbursts, distortions and halos due to complications
with LASIK surgery.
